Dear Emily/welcometoidiotica, I play a game on the PC called, American Mcgee's Alice, its a platform first person adventure game and is amazingly addictive, Its based on Alices adventures in wonderland. Perhaps if I see you at a gig I can make you a copy. Its such fun and not too difficult. Google it and have a look. Maybe you've already heard of it. I like to recommend things that I've enjoyed to other people.
Also please God let us have the PYTHIA CD soon so we've got something to talk about.
Still love to hear from more PYTHIANS about there other interests, its fun.

Please don't suggest such illegal activities such as copying the game; it is still available to get hold of online (I should know, I own about 3 copies myself). I'm sure you wouldn't go copying the band's CD when it comes out?!?

I hate to say that I actually have something in common with you though as I love Alice. I've been playing it for years on both my PC and Mac. It's in line with the Lucasarts adventure games (eg Monkey Island) but much more violent. Plus I want Alice's boots! I am even lame enough to own the figure they sold. Plus I have a photo of the huge Alice I saw in some window down a side steet in London.

Anyway...the official website is http://www.alice.ea.com/

Plus I just found out they are planning a sequel and are still talking about the film version.

Eep...the geekasaurus just showed up!

I bought that game three or four years ago, actually. But I still haven't played it :? I should get around to it but when it comes to gaming I prefer consoles (Playstation/Playstation 2 in particular). I've been playing video games since I was about 6 years old, although to be honest I didn't understand most of the games, which is probably why I started playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. So if anyone's up for a game of that, prepare to be beaten! :P I also play action-based stuff such as Syphon Filter (third-person shooter/stealth game) and Prince of Persia.

You're on, if we're ever both near a PS2 with THPS I'll challenge you. With 10yrs practise, I should be half decent at it

Just makes me think back to all the times me and my best mate used to do nothing all day but play HORSE. Of course, much more interesting words were used!!

Seems we've had the same amount of experience then! I hope we actually find the opportunity to challenge eachother :)

I remember THPS! I used to have it on xbox (coz xbox is obviously better than playstation - OOOH THE CONTROVERSY! xD) I wasn't very good at it though, just a couple of spins and grabs :( There was one move though that had "Jesus" in its name, I remember going around telling people "I did a Jesus!" :D

OMG ZOOMBINIS! That was an AWESOME game. But we only had it at primary school, and it was popular so I barely ever got to play it :(

Something tells me we should create a video games topic...

Dear Perversia, I have actually completed Alice more than once but I do love playing it.
Also it seems that you haven't forgiven my earlier little jest, for this I'm still sorry. I don't want any friction with any Pythians least of all you. Maybe we will one day meet and you will find that I'm quite a nice lad. My post about peoples interest seems to have opened up quite nicely inspite of your scepticism. Lets all enjoy ourselves, lifes to short to fight.
Thanks for the pic of Alice and can't wait for Alice 2.

ummmm zoombinis are little blue thingys that you have to take on an adventure to zoombini land and i think you start off with about 500 or 1000 or so and you have to do loads of challenges on the way and in each challenge you lose some of your zoombinis and then once youve spent about 8 hours getting as many of your zoombinis as you paossibly caan to zoombini land you have to go back to the beggining and make a whole new set of zoombinis and then pick up the rest of them on your way to zoombini land and as before you lose more zoombinis in each challengy thingy . uhhhh so yeah its kind of never ending and addictive .
