Looks like Grace will be booking her ticket to MFVF in the next day or two when they go on sale if the post in the MFVF forum is true - Tarja apparently confirmed for the Sunday :D

Sorry, Pred, I should have emoted 'sarcasm', I was just trying to yank Grace's chain, not yours.....

And Tom, I actually like both M, pre- and post Tarja, different, but both excellent.

Thought I better reply before Grace placed a contract on your life for blasphemy

Its looking like a superb lineup and still one headliner to be announced.

Prize for the silliest name has to go to Pinky Doodle Poodle - a Japanese band

I had to laugh at a comment on Blabbermouth about the addition of Tarja and Pinky Doodle Poodle. It was something like, "clearly something got lost in the Japanese translation!". :D

Epica are the "special" headliner, apparently.

What on earth made them add Pinky Doodle Poodle? I'd rather see Dirty Little Rabbits. :P But I'm not going as I have no moneys for these festivals.

I guessed Epica were the headliners, actually - seeming as they play there practically every year and haven't been added to the line-up yet... plus their new album's out at the end of the year so it seems pretty logical.

From the MFVF organisers on their forum...

Quote:
The Saturday headliner will be announced at the end of June !
We can't and don't want to announce them right now, due to an agreement with a partner of us, a contract, and it rest to arrange a lot of technical stuffs.

It isn't necessary to talk about the names you wanna see at MFVF 7.
You'll learn in June which band will perform at MFVF 7.
Until the name still not OFFICIALLY announced on MFVF's website, nobody will know.

If we can't keep the name secret until June, we'll have problems, and we'll risk to miss a nice show !

Not sure how Epica would fit a June announcement. Some people speculating it might be them (or hoping it is), but since they're playing Wacken in July I cant see why they'd want to delay an announcement for MFVF. Seems more likely to be someone else to be honest, but wont complain if it is Epica.

I mentioned this rumour last night to someone close to Epica. They were a bit hush-hush about it but i think they'll be the band to headline.
