Leighton's already talking about it as well. As discussed on Monday night we'll have to get together to sort out travel, accomodation, etc to keep the Pythian Army together.

Most people stay at the Ibis in Aalst, and a lot of the bands stay there as well.

Yeah, and you get a cheap breakfast if you tell them you won't be eating there. They don't bother checking if you have a hotel voucher! A saving of 13 euros each time. I've learnt this for next time!

Pythia at MFVF would be fantastic though! They'd love you there and you'd sell shit-loads of merch too. Looking forward to it! :)

Yep!!!!!! Its big!!!!!!

Damn I would love to get to that one but I doubt I will be able too, do to transport again......Damn damn & blast!!!!!!!!

Great news on hearing this....I feel that this will be when things will change in a massive way for Pythia.....Possibly meening only two gigs in Britain each year......The rest of the gigs will be world wide.

A shame for us Pythians.....But I know that we will all be extremley happy for you all.

Best wishes
Eddie

I'd be very disappointed if the buggers only gave us 2 gigs per year! I appreciate that Europe is traditionally a strong market for female fronted metal bands, whatever they sound like, and that Pythia should do very well over there. Let's not just accept though that the UK is a totally lost cause. Rules are there to be broken and just maybe Pythia will break through over here. They are already getting very reasonable coverage from the likes of Bruce Dickinson and of course Metal Hammer and are giving people something a bit different.

We might stretch to three if you're lucky!! No, honestly, we're very focussed on reminding this country just how great metal can be!! We invented it, we perfected it and we're damn well going to take it back!! A lot of people see Pythia as a rival to the European heavyweights, but there are those who see us as the rightful heirs to the metal throne!! The UK let it slip from our hands and now we're here to take it back!! Not just the UK but the entire world needs to get ready 'cos the Pythian Army is gathering and our power metal onslaught is both unrelenting and uncompromising!! It's all or nothing, and we won't stop until we're done!! Saddle up my son, 'cos tonight we ride!!

Here's to the New Wave Of British Power Metal!! \m/  \m/

'til death or glory!!
